Apple’s Leopard OS Doing Better Than The Earlier Ones

Researchers are claiming that the latest operating system of Apple known as Leopard is best of all the released ones so far. Leopard is the sixth version of Apple Computer’s Operating System. When we compare the first full month of sales of Apple Mac OS 10.5 “Leopard” to the first full month of sales for Mac OS 10.4 “Tiger” , Leopard was higher at a dollar volume by at least 32.8 percent margins and units volume sold was higher by 20.5 percent. One of the biggest new feature is a file back-up feature called “Time Machine,” that allows you to go back in time to see what you have on your computer files and documents.

Leopard came out to the market on October 25, 2007. That’s was actually a four month delay in release of released from the planned released date. Apple became busy with iPhone, thats why. Right now, the new version of Apple’s OS X software is sold for $129 for a single user and price of $199 for a “family pack” that can be installed on as many as five computers in a single household. On the other hand, Microsoft’s latest Operating System, OS, can cost anywhere between $100 and $260, depending on the type of package consumers want inside.
