Hillary Clinton Wins Over Obama in New Hampshire
Senator Hillary Clinton just won the New Hampshire Primary in a stunning upset, which was completely opposite to what many polls were predicting for several weeks now. In a veiled reference to the Obama campaign, she has said that politics was not a game and that the young people who supported her voted with their hearts and their minds.
Senator Clinton won this vote and gets put back in the race for Presidential candidacy, although her victory was just 2% over Barack Obama. In a concession speech, Barack Obama did congratulate Mrs Clinton. But he rallied his supporters by telling them he was still ‘fired up and ready to go.’
Mrs Clinton finished with 39% of the democratic vote, with Mr Obama on 37% and John Edwards third on 17%. On the Republican side, Senator John McCain completed a remarkable comeback by beating his nearest rival Mitt Romney by a wide margin.
