Hillary Clinton’s Standpoint On Science and Technology
So the 2008 Presidential Election is closing soon and before that happens we gotto know which candidate stands where. Here is the Democratic Presidential candidate Hilliary Clinton’s standpoint on space technology:
Hillary Clinton wants “American leadership in space through investments in exploration, earth sciences, and aeronautics research.”
She intend to fund NASA’s Earth Sciences program and a space-based Climate Change Initiative that will help us secure the scientific knowledge we need to combat global warming.
And got “a balanced strategy of robust human spaceflight, expanded robotic spaceflight, and enhanced space science activities.”
She also believes in speed development, testing, and deployment of next-generation launch and crew exploration vehicles to replace the aging Space Shuttle,” while capitalizing “on the expertise of the current Shuttle program workforce” and not allowing “a repeat of the ‘brain drain’ that occurred between the Apollo and shuttle missions.
