Las Vegas Hotel In Fire

Las Vegas is the most populous city in the state of Nevada, United States. Las Vegas is internationally renowned major resort city for gambling, shopping, and entertainment. There are also many popular Las Vegas hotels.

One of them is Monte Carlo hotel, which caught fire this morning sending flames shooting 30 feet into the air and thick plumes of black smoke billowing over the Nevada gaming capital. It has over 3,000 room. There were early reports four hotel workers were trapped on the roof of the 3,000-room hotel after the blaze was first reported around 11am. But firefighters soon reached the roof and about an hour after the fire broke out.

There is a speculation it could have begun in the kitchen of one of the hotel’s 259 luxury suites situated at the top of the building or was possibly caused by welders working on the roof. The extent of the damage to the interior of the 1996-built hotel, which is equipped with sprinklers and fire doors throughout, was unknown. It is still not known for sure how or exactly where the blaze broke out although it appeared to be close to the roof.
