Believe it or not, there are cars that changed the history. History’s most important cars start with Ford’s Model T and ends with today’s cheapest vehicle:

Model T Ford (1908-1927): This car helped put the world on wheels and create the American suburbs. When Henry Ford doubled his workers daily wage to $5.00 (in 1913), and made it affordable for the workers to buy them - introducing the social revolution in the world.

Chrysler Airflow (1934-37): This aerodynamic car brought the car industry’s use of wind tunnel testing was visionary and is now common practice.

Volkswagen Beetle (1938-2003): This car was designed to be the populist vehicle of the volk of Hitler’s Third Reich but the car has outlived its ancestry and has become the best selling single car model of all time.

Tata’s Nano (2008): This car was just released in January 2008. It is known as India’s “people’s car”, as it is already dubbed, is intended to put motoring within reach of Asia’s masses. At $2,500 it’s hard to see it how it won’t sell and the stripped back style of this car engineering that has the potential to change the world.
