Here are some important tips when mounting a plasma tv on a wall:

It is always tempting to mount plasma tv high, but don’t put it up too high. It is more comfortable to watch if the TV is close to 40 inches off the floor or just about the eye level while sitting.

Purchase good quality wires and cables if your tv requires them. That way if you have to run them cables through your wall, it won’t torn out easily and mess with your home other wires like power wires inside the walls.

Future Proof” your installation by including a DVI/HDMI cable or at least component cables through the wall, even if you are not using them today.
