Who is the man behind Iron Man? The new “Iron Man” movie is an Internet sensation. So find out more about this superhero.

Iron Man character was created by Stan Lee (the mastermind of Marvel Comics) in 1963. Lee based Stark’s personality on Howard Hughes, who refers as inventor, adventurer, a multi-billionaire, and a ladies’ man. Like Hughes, Tony Stark made much of his fortune as a defense contractor. And some might not even believe it, but he is listed in Forbes Magazine 15 wealthiest fictional characters. Appropriately, scenes in the upcoming movie were filmed in the giant hangar where Hughes built his legendary “Spruce Goose.”

So whats the movie all about? Well, the billionaire and industrialist Tony Stark gets injured and abducted in an Asian war zone. he got nothing left, so he relies on an improvised pacemaker to keep his heart going. The captors forces hime to build a super weapon. But instead, since he was left alone to work all by himself, he creates a mechanical armor suit. He uses his super iron man suit to get freedom from the bad guys. And later, Stark gets more inspiration especially after experiencing the fight ordeal, he uses the suit to fight for good causes and becomes the masked superhero called Iron Man.
